The Little Cube

The Little Cube

The paths carved into this compact gneiss by the indefatigable Davide Frachey and Alberto Silvestri are challenging and always engaging. Please note that inert material is sometimes discarded from the road close to the gneiss wall. This crag is also perfect for climbing on summer days, pleasantly sheltered by the lush tree canopy and its exposure.

ROAD ACCESS

From the SR44 heading towards Gressoney, before reaching the village of Fontainemore, turn left towards Theilly, cross the bridge and turn right, then park just 50 m further along on the roadside on the right.

ACCESS ON FOOT

The Cubetto crag is located just a few metres above the road, nestled amongst the beautiful chestnut trees.
