Mount Tijatz, also known as Punta Miravalle, with its wonderful of medium difficulty airy routes, can be reached in about an hour's walk on paths that are not always marked. We recommend taking extra care not to get lost, perhaps by using a topographical map. Take path no. 7 from Castel; at the junction with path no. 10 A, turn right and leave it at around 2000m, crossing the stream towards some alpine pastures. Once you reach the Montil Sup. pasture, follow the tracks that pass above an old landslide and above the rampart from which the prominent horn of Mount Tijatz stands out.
